Summary

Shortwave UV light ( white light) connects to a computer (USB lead included). Plug it in, it should open itself as a 'drive', look at the image on the screen (i.e. the UV unit does not have a viewing lens). 

For examining gemstones, stamps and other small objects.

It can also be used for sterilising small items of jewellery to make them safe from viruses - but please  first.

Can be switched to UV shortwave or ordinary white light.

You can certainly fit larger objects but if they are too large they will block the light, this is designed for gemstones or very small mineral samples...or stamps...or banknotes.
